I wanna play!
Brayden went to his first field hockey game today. I had my camera, but totally forgot about it until we were leaving. Not a huge deal, but Ashley, Annika and Michael ("the triplets") had joined us, so this would have been a great chance to get some shots of those cuties. It was a great game, with Courtland defeating James Monroe 2-1. I'm anxious to dust off my hockey stick and get back to the indoor league. Ready Janis?

Solid...
We made a quick trip to the doctors today to borrow the scale...Just 1 month and 5 days old, Brayden weighed in at a "solid" 12 pounds. Solid was the description used by the nurse. It's nice to know he's getting enough to eat...

Friday Night Lights
OK, so I need to work on my picture taking skills...but even through the blur you can tell all the pretty girls (and future babysitters) Brayden attracted at last night's Courtland High School football game. Brayden was a champ and did AWESOME. He mostly slept and, when he was awake, just stared at the stadium lights - oh yeah, and got a few digits. Here he's posing with Emily Goose, Daddy, Madeline Armitage and Jenna Livesay.

Milk Monster
When Brayden's hungry (which is about all his waking hours), he'll latch on to ANYTHING - including Daddy's nose. In a week or two, we'll introduce a bottle, given to him by Kevin. Like his father, I don't think Brayden's going to be one to turn down food, so I doubt we'll have any issues with him rejecting this new method of feeding...
